Generally, there are two kinds of companies.

Since you've already got the structure in place, I can help you fine-tune your team to reach even greater heights by helping you envision a BHAG (big, hairy, audacious goal) and coaching you to achieve it.

If your company has more in common with the second scenario, you may want to think about re-orienting your company culture to one that encourages your employees' full participation, as well as supports their loyalty and commitment. I help you do that, too.

FACILITATION

In both cases, we begin by getting a clear picture of the situation as it is. First, we'll look at where the reality meets or veers away from your company's vision and mission. Then, through facilitated discussion, we'll develop workable, constructive solutions to help you move ahead; and/ or, get back on track.

VISION

The process works best when the CEO and his or her executive staff begin by meeting with me at an offsite retreat. Our discussions can remain among the executive staff or include management and individual contributors as appropriate.

COACHING

Once we have agreed on the approach, I support you in the implementation phase by coaching key people on their roles. Managers are coached to recognize and mine the potential of individual contributors, to accept and appreciate diverse opinions and approaches, and to allow failures without punishment or blame. Together, we develop an environment in which people are encouraged to pay attention, be proactive, and show initiative.

Ultimately, every employee has the opportunity to develop her skills, resulting in higher job satisfaction. She finds her personal vision and goals reflected and supported by the company's vision and goals. She sees the value in her contribution; and, as a result, offers the company greater loyalty and commitment, leading to increased company's success. Congratulations, you have a win-win workplace!
